Off Leash Training

What a joy it is to reach down, hear the click as the leash is removed and then watch as your dog releases his energy to a sprint, a jump and a kick in the air. As you observe, his tail swishes and his nose reaches into the air to take in the scent of a summer's day. Before you even call his name, he comes bounding back to you, lays at your feet and looks deep into your eyes, just waiting for that approving smile and "good boy".

Or maybe you find yourself in this scenario: The dog pushes his way out of the car and runs at full speed in whichever direction his nose takes him. Before you have time to think, you're running as fast is you can after your dog, leash in hand, calling his name along with every command you can think of and still he's determined to go his own way. Out of breath, you eventually get him back and say to yourself "but he's fine on the leash".

Yes, letting a dog run free is a risky business. Or is it? Find out how to reach that satisfying moment of letting go and knowing he will come back. We can help you transform your dog from a "frisbee dog" (you let go and someone else has to catch it) to a "yo-yo dog" (comes back to you every time).

Off Leash Training: 90 minutes.

This session progresses from on leash recall training to releasing your dog and ensuring he comes back. *

*Please note that dogs must already know the basic commands, come, this way and wait/stop. It is possible to hire an enclosed field/property for the first session. We can arrange this with a location near you.
